PHOENIX -- You may have noticed the stores are starting to get dolled up for fall.

Some Christmas decorations are even hitting store shelves. Then you walk outside and get hit with the heat.

September is already shaping up to be a record-breaking month. We are 10 degrees higher than the average for the first week of September.

Thursday could break a record set in 1945 at 113 degrees. The first day of fall is Sept. 22, and many people around the Valley are ready.
