PHOENIX -- It looks like we should have an increase in thunderstorms statewide Friday through Sunday.
Most of the rain is going to fall in southern Arizona and a lot of the storms will be in the mountains, per usual. Right now, metro Phoenix has a decent chance to see some of those storms, too.
We haven’t had measurable rain at Sky Harbor Airport since April 8, but there’s a really good chance we’ll stop that streak by the end of the weekend.
In the meantime, after Friday, we should see highs only in the 90s for Saturday through Monday.
Although it will be humid, that’s a nice break this time of year.
