PEORIA, Ariz. -- It's not unusual to send your kids to camp in the summer. But what about a pizza camp?
This summer, Humble Pie is offering kids a chance to attend pizza camp and become pizza pie pros!
The camp is offered at the Peoria location only, at 83rd Avenue and Bell Road. The restaurant will offer the experience every Tuesday in July from 2:00- 3:00 pm. The cost is $10 per student and each child will leave with a certificate for a free kids' meal.
Kids will learn to toss the dough, make their own mozzarella, and design their own pizza. They also get a tour of the restaurant.
The camp is for kids ages six to 12. To reserve a spot, call 623-334-2700.
Humble Pie is locally owned, and offers pizza, salads, sandwiches, pasta and burgers. There are six valley locations.
