FLORENCE, Ariz. – The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help finding a suspected child molester.

Investigators believe Robert Richard Guardiola sexually molested two girls over the course of several years.

According to PCSO, a young female victim came forward with her mother in September. The girl said Guardiola had molested her repeatedly during the past several years.

As detectives investigated the allegations, a second victim came forward with a similar accusation.

Investigators say Guardiola has family ties to both victims, who were younger than 14 when they allegedly were abused.

“Detectives have been searching for Robert Guardiola but after the investigation began he has disappeared,” PCSO spokesman Tim Gaffney said in a news release. “Detectives are asking for help from the public to locate him.”

Guardiola, pictured above when he was arrested for marijuana possession, is a white male, 43 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen driving a black in color BMW with Arizona license plate BCN7751.

"These two young female victims had the courage to come forward and report these sex crimes committed against them,” Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said. “A large number of children who are abused never come forward out of fear, embarrassment or concern that they won't be believed. The overwhelming majority of child sexual abuse victims are abused by someone they know and trust, a person most parents would never suspect. It is important for adults to encourage their children to know they can talk with them about anything. If you suspect a child has been sexually abused, report it immediately to law enforcement."

If you know anything about Guardiola's whereabouts, contact PCSO at 520-866-5111.
