3TV expands local news coverage

PHOENIX -- News coverage at 3TV is expanding with a longer weekday evening show and a longer weekend morning show.

Beginning Sept. 8, Good Evening Arizona will start at 4 p.m. It currently begins at 4:30 p.m.

Inside Edition, which currently airs at 4 p.m. on 3TV, will move to 3TV's sister station, CBS5, where it will air at 4 p.m.

Fields Moseley and Jaime Cerreta will anchor the 4 p.m. hour of Good Evening Arizona. Brandon Lee and Carey Peña will anchor from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Lee and Peña will also anchor 3TV News @ 9 p.m. and 3TV News at 10 p.m.

Good Morning Arizona now airs from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It did begin at 7 a.m. Ryan O'Donnell, Tess Rafols and Kim Quintero are the anchors.

The expansion brings the total coverage of news on 3TV to 57.5 hours per week.

3TV and CBS5 are owned by the Meredith Corporation.
