PHOENIX -- The Arab American Festival is taking place this weekend at Steele Indian School Park. This multi-cultural celebration, which is open to the public, highlights the many joyous facets Arab countries and their unique cultures have to offer.
The Arab American Festival is an event that entertains all ages through music, arts and crafts, children's activities, and vendor services from local businesses. Delicious, authentic food will be served, surrounded by a rich mosaic of Arabian entertainment from here and abroad, including electrifying belly dancers, traditional vocalists, contemporary rap artists, and rousing whirling folkloric dancers.
The festival continues Sunday, noon-9 p.m. Admission for adults is $5; children 12 and younger get in free with an adult.
