TUCSON -- None of the people busted in connection with a dog-fighting ring near Tucson had post bail to get out of jail.

Four of the six defendants were released on their own recognizance. The other two are being monitored.

The Pima County Attorney's Office had requested bail of $500,000 for each of the six people arrested in a county-wide raid Tuesday.

A city magistrate, however, declined to impose bail. The court did not consider the six suspects flight risks.

The suspects are accused of supplying dogs to organized dog-fighting rings throughout the county.
