Police still trying to ID body of homicide victim

Victim had tattoos

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a homicide victim.

On June 21 at about 3:50 a.m., police responded to a call of unknown trouble near 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. Officers found the victim lying dead behind a business.

Police have not been able to identify the victim. Police do not have any suspect information and do not know the circumstances that led to his death.

The victim was an Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 182 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

The victim had a tattoo of "PHX" on the inside of his right forearm and a tattoo of "Rodriquez" across his upper back.
