PHOENIX - Police have an alleged robber in custody after the suspect attempted to hold up a bank at 16th and Osborn.

The suspect walked into the bank, handed the teller a note alledgedly demanding money, but took off before getting any cash.

Police arrested the suspect a short time later when an undercover officer spotted him on Thomas and called for back up.

Police do not know whether the alleged robber had a gun.

He had no weapons when police found and captured the suspect.
