Fire at Goodyear industrial plant sparks evacuation

GOODYEAR -- Flames at a Goodyear industrial plant had firefighters concerned about possible hazardous chemicals late Monday night and into Tuesday morning.
Dozens of firefighters battled two fires near Main Street and Cotton Lane near Interstate 10 Monday night.
Some material and a natural gas line apparently caught fire in the storage area of W.R. Meadows, a company specializing in construction products.
A Hazardous Materials teams was called out as a precaution.
The smoke from the fires forced the evacuation of a Macy's warehouse.
The fire was contained shortly after 1 a.m., but another engine was sent back out to deal with some hot spots.
It's not clear yet how bad the damage is, but no injuries were reported.
An investigation is underway to determine what sparked the fire.
