Stabbed man crashes car trying to drive to hospital

GLENDALE -- A man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed and then tried to drive himself to the hospital.
Police said Nathan Rawlins, 31, lost control of his Mustang and slammed into a pole at 59th and Glendale avenues at about 3:00 Friday morning.
It was discovered that he had been stabbed in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators learned that Rawlins and Eugene Villa, 28, engaged in a fight at Rawlins' home. Both men were armed with knives. Villa sustained a minor injury.
Officers are looking for Villa.
The westbound lanes of Glendale Avenue were closed for several hours during the investigation.
