LAKE PLEASANT -- One person is dead after a bus crash in the northwest valley.

The collision happened just after 2am Saturday morning on the Carefree highway near Lake Pleasant.

Authorities say a tour bus was headed back to El Paso from Las Vegas when it collided with a car coming from California.

The 22-year-old woman driving the car died at the scene.

At least a dozen people on-board the bus were injured and taken to Phoenix -area hospitals.

Authorities say all but three have been treated and released.
