1 dead in Phoenix shooting; police look for 2 suspects

At least one person is dead

PHOENIX -- One person is dead after a shooting near Interstate 17 and Highland Avenue, according to Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill.

Police are searching for two suspects but only have vague descriptions for both of them.

One suspect is described as a young Hispanic male, 20-25-years-old, slender and wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Police say he was last seen with a large amount of blood on the right side of his face. It is unknown if he was shot or if it was splattered blood.

The second suspect is described as an Hispanic male, about 15-years-old, short, heavy-set, and wearing a T-shirt and shorts and short dark hair.

Both were seen getting into a white SUV or gold sedan, possibly a Chevy, heading southbound on 23rd Avenue from Highland Avenue.

The victim has only been identified as a hispanic amle aduit.
