A probably cause statement filed by Mesa Police on March 22 of 2007 says Clark took a knife to school before kidnapping a fellow female student at knifepoint for a short time on the way home.

Clark also allegedly held a knife to the victim's throat before releasing her and letting her go home, according to the statement.

Police were alerted and waited for him at school after being notified. Clark’s parents were called by authorities after the teen failed to show up at school.

According to the news release, Clark was found by his parents wearing camouflage clothing and with a backpack full of weapons and restraining materials at his home. The teen allegedly admitted to his plans of wanting to take his classmate hostage.

Clark will be sentenced on June 19 and is facing up to 3 and a half years behind bars and another 7 years of probation.
