PHOENIX – A prostitution bust in Phoenix resulted in the arrest of over a dozen people.

The Phoenix Police Department’s VICE worked with the South Mountain precinct on Tuesday afternoon to implement a prostitution enforcement program.

Police say the investigation focused on both the alleged prostitutes as well as “johns.” The area law enforcement targeted was from 10 ^th Ave. to 15^th Ave. along Van Buren and from 15^th Ave. to 31^st Ave. on Buckeye Road.

A total of 9 alleged “johns” and 5 women suspected of being prostitutes were taken into custody. The following are the named suspects: Michele Dominique, Miguel Duran, Raul Aguilar, Mary Holden, Juan Benavidez, Espiridion Serna, Armando Gutierrrez, Ramona Sullins, Teresa Thomas, Ray Palmer, Angela Donathan, Felipe Perez-Silva, Ramon Tarazon, Mario Cruz-Gonzales.
