Calif. woman accused is fighting extradition

UPDATE:

MESA - The California woman accused of killing a Valley man is fighting extradition.

This is a bizarre story. Twenty-eight-year-old Jodi Arias was arrested at her home in Yreka, California on Tuesday. She is facing first-degree murder charges for the death of Travis Alexander who was found dead inside his Mesa home in June.

Officers say Arias was the ex-girlfriend of Alexander. Her myspace page has tributes to her former boyfriend, including an album titled “In loving memory of Travis Alexander.” One message reads, “Jodi Arias misses Travis.  See you soon my friend, but not soon enough.”

Police have still not released the cause of death.
