Motorcyclist dies after rear-ending Jeep on Phoenix freeway

PHOENIX -- A motorcyclist who ran into a Jeep Wrangler on the Loop 101 freeway in north Phoenix has died of his injuries.
Arizona Department of Public Safety Sgt. William Duff said Sunday that 27-year-old David Dutrisac Jr. of Phoenix died around midnight Saturday at John C. Lincoln Hospital.
Dutrisac rear-ended the Jeep just after merging onto the Loop 101 on Wednesday afternoon. The driver of the Jeep, 32-year-old Jessica Leon of Phoenix, was not injured.
Duff says Dutrisac was not wearing a helmet.
