MESA -- A Scottsdale father has been arrested on suspicion of endangerment after crashing an all-terrain vehicle with his three children onboard.
Scottsdale Police say the children were not wearing helmets.
The father is identified as 44-year-old Lonny Draper.
Police say the children, ages 4, 7 and 9 were riding with their father in a desert area Saturday afternoon. As Draper attempted to turn the vehicle on a steep incline, it rolled over.
Police say Draper suffered a broken hip while his children had minor injuries.
State law requires ATV riders under the age of 18 to wear a helmet.
