A vehicle theft task force has smashed a vehicle chop shop operation in Apache Junction.
The Department of Public Safety says the Arizona Vehicle Theft Task Force executed a warrant Monday at an Apache Junction business.
Inside, authorities recovered numerous stolen vehicles, stolen vehicle parts and documents.
Police were led to the business after a vehicle was stolen with an electronic tracking device.
The raid also led to the discovery of 12 undocumented immigrants working at the business.
Officials say the 12 were handed over to immigration authorities.
Arrests are pending as the investigation continues.
