Authorities are cracking down on criminals in Avondale with quicker technology.

It's called the "Arizona automated fingerprint identification system."

Avondale has joined a network that allows rapid identification and matching of fingerprints.

This will help police officers get an ID on a fingerprint at a crime scene in a matter of hours, as opposed to an entire day.
