Newborn found dead in Chandler outhouse

A newborn girl was found dead in an outhouse at a suburban housing
development under construction Saturday morning, police said.
The baby was found by construction workers in Chandler just before 8:30
a.m., said Chandler police spokesman Sgt. Mark Franzen.
The baby appeared to be full term and still had an umbilical cord
attached, Franzen said.
The girl was described as White or possibly Hispanic with dark hair.
No further information was immediately available.
