FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Flagstaff police are investigating what appears to be a homicide.

Officers responded to the vicinity of Spruce and Second avenues at approximately 7:30 a.m. Thursday after neighbors reported finding their friend in his own camping trailer covered in blood and not breathing.

He was declared dead at the scene.

Police said the victim is a white male and appears to be 50 to 60 years old. His identity has not been confirmed at this time.

Sgt. James Jackson said foul play has not been ruled out and the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Several people were taken to the police station for questioning.

No arrests have been made.
