FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — Northern Arizona authorities say a man arrested in connection with burglaries and a vehicle theft in Oak Creek Canyon gave them a false name.

Coconino County Sheriff's officials said Wednesday that fingerprint verification has positively identified the suspect as 32-year-old Jason Robert Tasker of Glendale.

They say Tasker told them he was 30-year-old Ryan Travis Twyman of Phoenix when he was arrested Tuesday in Flagstaff following a short chase.

Authorities say Tasker allegedly was driving a vehicle reported stolen from the Garland Lodge in Oak Creek Canyon and in possession of several firearms taken in burglaries at the lodge.

Sheriff's officials say multiple residences in the lodge's employee housing unit were burglarized as well as several vehicles belonging to employees and guests. Jewelry, electronic devices and cash were reported missing.
