TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A 91-year-old Tucson man has been convicted on five counts of child molestation.
A Pima County Superior Court jury on Friday found that Angelino Paolo Buccheri-Bianca molested three of the four children he was accused of touching inappropriately.
He's scheduled to be sentenced June 4.
The Arizona Daily Star (http://bit.ly/IA3rao) says Buccheri-Bianca had been facing between 40 and 216 years in prison if convicted on all nine counts at trial.
He rejected a plea agreement in December that guaranteed probation on two counts and between five and 15 years on two other counts.
In December 2010, the family's 11-year-old daughter told a school counselor Buccheri-Bianca had molested her. The girl's 8-year-old sister also said she'd been molested and two young boys in the family later claimed they'd been victimized.
