PHOENIX -- Arizona will begin a slow warm-up today after several days of cold and wintry weather.
Morning lows started in the 30s and low 40s across the Valley, but should warm to the low 60s under mostly sunny skies this afternoon.
The weekend looks a bit warmer, with forecast highs in the mid 60s both days, with no rain in the forecast. It will warm up a bit in the high country, but a storm is expected to brush by to our north on Saturday night and Sunday. There's a 20-percent chance of snow for that time period in the high country, and temperatures will be a bit cooler statewide Sunday and Monday following the storm.
Temperatures start to warm again by next Tuesday and Wednesday, and the Valley should be back in the low 70s by then.
