PHOENIX -- Winter weather returned to northern Arizona on Friday afternoon with scattered snow showers and high winds reported at many locations.
Flagstaff got its first measureable snow in 40 days and Springerville got a wind gust of 68 miles an hour.
In the Valley, we had winds gusting into the 20 mile an hour range for part of Friday afternoon. As a result, a Blowing Dust Advisory was issued by the National Weather Service.
So now, we get a cool weekend around the Valley.
Highs are only going to be in the mid-60s and by Sunday, some Valley locations will see lows in the upper-30s.
Still, no rain is in the forecast for metro Phoenix through the weekend.
