PHOENIX – It was a bizarre scene inside a million-dollar Phoenix home on Thursday.

Police say they were called to a huge house on Monte Vista near 7th Street and McDowell by a renter who found a man covered with blood.

After further investigation detectives found two bloody people in a bathroom both of whom had apparently cut their wrists.

Sgt. Timothy Arndt, with Phoenix Fire, tells 3TV, “Fire department came in checked them out. They were both responsive, conscious and other than having bled out somewhat, their condition appears that they'll survive."

Police said the only explanation offered by the men was that they had been drinking. They will not face charges but police say they will try to get them some help.
