Suspects hold employees at gunpoint during pharmacy robbery in Phoenix

PHOENIX -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify and locate two suspects in an armed robbery at a Phoenix pharmacy.

The suspects entered Rosy's Pharmacy at 12th Street and Northern Avenue at approximately 3:45 p.m. on July 22.

Police said they jumped over the sales counter and forced the employees at gunpoint into the back of the store where the safe was located.

The suspects took prescription drugs from the safe and fled the store.

Police said the victims were held at gunpoint during the entire incident.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball hat, mirrored sunglasses and white shorts with "Bear Down" on the front. Police have released a photo of this suspect.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 25 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball hat, all black clothing and sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the suspects' identities or whereabouts is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or silentwitness.org. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.
