PHOENIX -- A Chandler man has been arrested for assault, for reportedly spraying two people in the face with a homemade liquid that he called "holy water".

In reality, police say the substance was made up of bleach, hot sauce and vegetable oil.

The first victim says suspect Francisco Javier Villa charged at him in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Chandler. According to police reports, Villa took out a plastic spray bottle, and sprayed the mans car, clothes, and face with a thick, yellowish liquid.

The second victim also tells police that Villa sprayed him in the face, and he felt a burning sensation.

When officers tracked down Villa in his apartment, he admitted spraying the liquid at the men. According to police documents, Villa told officers that the liquid was "holy water" and that he had gotten it at the Mormon Temple.

He later admitted it was made up of bleach, hot sauce and vegetable oil.

According to police documents, Villa appears to be mentally disabled, and has been contacted by police numerous times in that complex.

Both victims were wearing glasses and were not seriously hurt. But both men say they do want Villa to be prosecuted.

Villa has been booked into jail on two misdemeanor counts of assault.
