SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Surprise police are asking for the public's help to identify a bank robbery suspect.

Police said a man robbed the Chase Bank inside the Bashas' grocery store at 15367 W. Waddell Road just after 4 p.m. on Dec. 3.

The man approached the teller and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a multicolored baseball cap at the time of the robbery.

Police released images of the suspect taken by security cameras.
