SURPRISE -- Police arrested three men after a robbery and drive-by shooting in Surprise.

According to the Surprise Police Department, two males robbed a man at gunpoint at a park near Vista Ranch Road on Nov. 1.

The next day there was a drive-by shooting at a home near Bell and Reems roads. Sgt. Mark Ortega said the home was struck by bullets fired from an unknown vehicle.

Working on an investigative lead, police questioned Elias Manning, 18, of Surprise. Ortega said Manning confessed to both the robbery and the drive-by shooting.

Detectives were able to identify two accomplices, Ryan Blue, 20, and James Jenkins, 19, both of Surprise.

Ortega said Blue and Jenkins were already in custody for a drive-by shooting that occurred near Greenway and Litchfield roads on Nov. 3.

All three were charged with aggravated robbery, armed robbery and drive-by shooting.
