Special teams working to prevent domestic-violence fatalities

PHOENIX -- Domestic violence is a problem facing people all over the county, and Arizona is no exception.

The latest murder-suicide happened just two weeks ago.

According to Peoria police, Gabriel Schwartz, 28, shot and killed the mother and grandmother of his child before turning the gun on himself. The child was home asleep at the time.

Those three deaths bring the number of people killed int he state as a result of domestic violence to 95.

Now, a special team is trying to keep that number from rising.
