PHOENIX -- Residents all over the state of Arizona got their first real taste of winter this weekend, as cold, wet conditions blanketed the state.
In Flagstaff, residents woke up Saturday morning to find a light dusting of snow covering their neighborhoods.
“I’ve been living here for a while so I’m personally kind of used to it but I don’t mind it,” said one Flagstaff resident.
While the snow melted as the day progressed, Friday night’s cold snap served as a reminder of the weather ahead.
A little further south, those living in the Valley got to enjoy the sound of raindrops on Friday night.
Temperatures will remain cold across the state on Saturday night, with a light dusting of snow possible in the high country.
The overnight low in the Flagstaff area is also expected to be down around zero on Saturday night.
Valley residents can expect another cold day on Sunday, with a high in the low 60s and a low in the 40s.
