Sky Harbor offers tips, deals for Labor Day travel

PHOENIX -- Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has some deals and tips for Labor Day weekend travelers.

The airport is offering a coupon that will take up to $10 off the price of parking in the terminal garages, putting the full-day rate at $15 from Sept. 2-8.

The coupons are available online at SkyHarbor.com.

The airport also has some tips for travelers. They recommend taking the light rail to avoid traffic, checking flight status before leaving for the airport and arriving two hours before your flight departs.

They also recommend labeling all luggage, even carry-ons, and keeping liquids in containers smaller than 3 ounces.
