GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Detectives from the Glendale Police Department are investigating the murder of a 52-year-old man who was stabbed outside his home.
Witnesses reported that John David Garcia got into an altercation with the driver of a vehicle stopped in front of his home near 49th and Maryland avenues at approximately 6:25 p.m. on June 25.
During the fight, the driver stabbed Garcia then fled the area. Garcia was treated at a local hospital but died from his injuries a week later.
Witnesses described the suspect as a heavy-set, bald, Hispanic male driving a light brown or light green four-door mid-size sedan.
