GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Police officers are trying to determine if they have found everyone involved in an early morning shooting in Glendale.

It happened at about 5 a.m. Friday in the area of 67th and Montebello avenues, which is just south of Bethany Home Road.

Details are still developing, but according to officers on the scene, several people scattered as they pulled up.

At this point, investigators do not know what precipitated the shooting nor have they identified the victim.

At least one man was taken into custody a couple of blocks from the scene. Police are calling that man an investigative lead. Early video showed officers surrounding a nearby house. They were awaiting a K9 unit.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital. He reportedly was "full code" at the time, which means he was in either cardiac or respiratory arrest. His current condition is not known.

People who live in the neighborhood said shootings are relatively common in the area.

Information will be updated as it comes in to the 3TV newsroom.
