TUCSON -- Two young Tucson sisters who had been missing for about a week were found safe Wednesday.
Authorities say 13-year-old Marina Padilla and 11-year-old Marissa Padilla, who were last seen Dec. 1 at Pistor Middle School, were found at a grocery store.
Police won't say where the sisters were for the past eight days, but say it may involve a custody dispute between their divorced parents.
The girls' mother and two of her neighbors are under arrest and face charges linked to their disappearance.
This isn't the first time the girls have disappeared. Police say on November 27 they ran away and were found safe at their mother's house.
A news conference to discuss the girls' disappearance was about to start Wednesday when Tucson police showed up and asked that it be canceled because there had been a break in the case.
