PHOENIX – Phoenix police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a bank robbery.

Police said the suspect entered the Chase Bank at Northern and 35th avenues around 2 p.m. Monday and presented a demand note to a teller.

The suspect was given an amount of cash and he fled the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 200 to 230 pounds with dark skin and a muscular build. He was wearing a light-colored long sleeve shirt at the time of the robbery.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. Callers may remain anonymous.
