PHOENIX -- A group is working to honor the Granite Mountain Hotshots with the Presidential Citizen Award, the second highest civilian award in the country.

Nineteen hotshots died while battling the Yarnell Hill Fire in late June, but the petition is calling for all 20 to be honored.

Right now, the petition has just over 1,500 hundred signatures. It needs another 98,000 signatures before the White House will consider the petition.
