CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Payment processing giant PayPal opened a new customer service and operations center in Chandler and is looking to hire as many as 1,500 more employees.
The PayPal office, located on Price Road near Loop 202, opened the first and second floors of its 188,000-square-foot facility on Wednesday.
The San Jose, Calif.-based company already has hired more than 500 new employees for the center. By the end of the year, the final phase of construction will be completed and the facility will be ready to accommodate approximately 1,500 additional employees.
