PHOENIX - Phoenix police are looking for a bank robbery suspect who displayed a revolver at a Phoenix Bank of America branch on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident took place at the Bank of America located near Peoria Avenue and 28th Avenue.

The suspect approached a teller, displayed a revolver that was concealed in a notebook and verbally demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and then fled the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 25-years-old, 5'6''-5'7'', 130-140 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue baseball cap, prescription glasses with dark plastic frames, a light colored pullover shirt with horizontal stripes, khaki pants and white athletic shoes.

Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspect.
