PHOENIX -- Newly released video of Jodi Arias is shedding some light on how the accused murderer likes to spend her time when she’s left alone in an interrogation room.
HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell released footage this week of Arias sitting by herself after being questioned by detectives in Siskiyou County, California on July 15, 2008.
The clip starts off with Arias sitting at a table, but she quickly decides to get up and perform a headstand against a wall.
The footage also captures Arias singing to herself, and at one point she can even be heard scolding herself for not wearing any makeup.
“Should have at least done your makeup, Jodi. Gosh,” she remarks.
Jurors have not, and will not be shown the footage of Arias in the interrogation room.
Arias just finished 18 days of testimony in the murder of her former lover Travis Alexander.
Arias, who is facing the death penalty, has claimed that she killed Alexander in self-defense.
Trial is scheduled to resume on Monday, beginning with an evidentiary hearing.
