PHOENIX -- Another hot day is on tap for the Valley.  Expect partly sunny skies today with a high of 108 degrees.  There's a slight chance for thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, but a better chance we'll see some blowing dust.

There is also a High Pollution Advisory today for the Valley for both dust and ozone.

Our monsoon pattern is finally setting up over the Southwest.

Today, storms will become more numerous across the state, and with storms likely to the southeast of the Valley, blowing dust becomes a concern for the Valley this afternoon and evening.  There's about a 20 percent chance for the Valley to see thunderstorms by tonight, and those chances increase for Friday and Saturday.

Your Fourth of July in the Valley includes a 30 percent chance of storms and a pretty good chance of a dust storm as well.

Storm chances continue Saturday and Sunday.
