MESA, Ariz. -- The mayor of Mesa wants those who rides bikes in his city to remain safe, and this morning, he has a special message for them.
Bruce Haffner explains about the 3-foot rule. It's all about drivers and bicyclists sharing the road safely.
"In order to keep the streets safe, in order to keep cyclists safe, in order to keep drivers from going through that horrendous experience of creating the damage, they've got to keep away from each other," said Mayor Scott Smith.
