SEVEN SPRINGS, Ariz. -- A couple who had been missing since Sunday afternoon have been located and are fine.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the 20-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were last seen Sunday at approximately 4:30 p.m. They were to return at 10 p.m.
The couple were traveling in a newly purchased gray 1997 Jeep Wrangler when they left the man's home to have a campfire.
On Monday, the sheriff's office began a search for the couple in the Seven Springs area. Crews used four-wheel drive vehicles and helicopters to search the area north of Cave Creek.
The couple spent a chilly night in their Jeep after the battery died, but they are OK.
