PHOENIX (AP) -- State gaming agents have seized electronic gambling machines from four Phoenix-area legion and lodge halls.

The Department of Liquor Licenses and Control said Wednesday that eight pay-for-play video machines were seized Tuesday at two Moose Clubs, an Elks Lodge, an American Legion hall, and the property of 71-year-old Richard Victory of Mesa.

The department says Victory provided the machines in exchange for a percentage of the profits, and that he collected thousands of dollars in undeclared income every month.

Victory declined to comment when reached at his home.

The department also seized more than $12,000 in cash, several computers, a vehicle, gaming records and financial documents.
