CAVE CREEK -- Firefighters were called out to a huge fire in a rural area just outside Cave Creek early Monday morning.

It happened shortly after 6 a.m.. in the area of 26th Street and Saddle Mountain Road.

According to Daisy Mountain Fire Chief Dennis Tyrrell, the fire started in some debris around a mobile home, and then spread to the home itself.

While the area appears to be somewhat rural, Tyrrell said it was not hard for crews to get to the scene.

"A lot of people think there are water supply issues up in this area, but the fire departments up there carry their own water so that's never an issue for us," Tyrrell said.

While the homeowner was on the scene, that person has not lived in the home for quite some time.

No injuries were reported.

It's not yet known what sparked the fire.
