PHOENIX -- Mother Nature is about to turn up the heat on Arizona.
Thanks to a strong ridge of high pressure, the Valley will spend much of this week in the triple digits.
Look for Valley highs near 101-102 through Thursday under mostly sunny skies.
There is a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the high country of Northern and Eastern Arizona today and tomorrow, but the deserts should stay dry under a westerly flow.
Temperatures should head back to the upper 90s by Friday and into next weekend.
No rain is in the Valley forecast at least the next week.
