WICKENBURG- During a traffic stop on the U.S. 60 near Wickenburg a Department of Public Safety Officer discovers a grenade.
A nearby McDonald's was evacuated around 10 a.m. as a precaution while DPS EOD personnel removed the device from the area.
A deputy discovered the grenade during a traffic stop for what was believed to be an impaired driver.
The suspect in this case is being questioned by DPS and possible charges pending.
The McDonald's has re-opened and things in the area are back to normal.
