PHOENIX -- Sgt. Thomas Rabjohn died October 3rd in Afghanistan. He had just disabled an explosive device, when he noticed another was about to blow. He was able to get his colleagues out of the way just in time, but it would be too late to save his own life.
Joining his fellow police officers and guardsmen in the crowd of mourners were some who had never even met Rabjohn, but felt compelled to say thank you to his family at the Skyway Church of the West Valley.
Friday, Thomas Rabjohn will be laid to rest as a crowd of more than 1,000 are expected to pack into the Christ Church of the Valley for a final farewell.
